The newest and hottest idea on the market is the "pod" - or private (and often) mobile unit within the open office - that allows employees some quiet and private time. "NOOK", a new-ish company out of Bristol, UK has quickly become successful with small footprint, mobile, modular units - or "Nooks" for those who want a more intimate collaboration location that is somewhat removed but not isolated from the office like an enclosed phone booth. The "Nook", aptly called, provides employees in the often noisy and chaotic open office environment, a more quiet respite where they can better concentrate and refuel. These modular privacy pods are a godsend for those introverts who need a place away from constant stimulation to have their best ideas! The flexibility of these modular pods also mean that they can fill many needs. This Nook Pod has been used as a breakfast nook in the morning, a lunch meeting space or quiet concentration area throughout the day, as well as a rest spot at trade shows and events. This Nook Skinny Pod functions as a hide away from the hustle and bustle of the busy office and is perfect for small meetings or creative think-tanks! At ONLY 2 feet deep and on casters, this mobile unit can go anywhere. This lighter weight, smaller model is standard with an open back but if desired, an upper back wall in laminate or whiteboard can be added. It also includes an overhead LED lamp and 3 power outlets/3 USB, as well as a table with a panel leg. For a more social environment, pods can easily be daisy-chained together. It's compact size allows it to be moved through most doorways without breaking it down, but it can be disassembled by an inexperienced user in 30 minutes and installed in 2 hours! Ships in 3-4 weeks.

5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on all main parts in the NOOK mobile meeting & work pod system. This limited warranty is subject to the terms and conditions stated in this document. What is covered under this Limited Warranty? The limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship on all main parts in the NOOK, from the date of purchase from Do Company Ltd (Do Co). What will Do Co do to correct the problem? Do Co will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this limited warranty. If considered covered, Do Cothrough its own service operations, will then, at sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this limited warranty, Do Co will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff, that Do Co incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without special expenditure. This does not apply to any repair work not authorized by Do Co. Replaced parts become the property of Do Co. If the item is no longer sold by Do Co, Do Co will provide an appropriate replacement. It is Do Co that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement. What is not covered under this Limited Warranty? This limited warranty does not apply to products in the NOOK system that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned using the wrong cleaning methods or with the wrong cleaning products. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. This limited warranty does not apply if the products have been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in a humid environment. This limited warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages. For customers in the US only: Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damage, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty does not apply if the product has been used for commercial rental to third parties. Care instructions For all surfaces except upholstery & table: spray with a household window cleaner product and wipe clean with paper towel. For a deeper clean, use a white scouring pad. Upholstery: Depends on Upholstery range. See separate cleaning guide provided at time of purchase. Table: If laminate, use 1st method above. If lacquered wood veneer, use a lacquer spray polish and soft cloth.
