The HÅG Capisco saddle style stool began with the dynamic seating posture of the horse rider. No one sits as actively as an equestrian when seated. Peter Opsvik and HÅG has successfully recreated this ideal seating position for active work settings. You can feel the dynamics as soon as you sit down. HÅG Capisco was awarded "the classic award for design excellence" by the Norwegian Design Council in 2001. The rest is history! Many hundreds of thousands of Capisco's have been sold worldwide since the chairs inception.
This design lends its success to its ability to allow the spine to find its natural curvature. Musicians, artists and makers of all kinds swear by this ergonomic stool while engaging in their craft! With 3 cylinder height options, foot rings and a plethora of quick ship fabrics the Capisco can surely be configured to match your needs. Ships from HAG-USA in 6 weeks. Always Free of course. Over seventy five different fabrics in a choice of three frame finishes. Can meet CAL TB133 fire standards (*this increases the ship time to 16 weeks). Maybe the most interesting chair that we handle. The Capisco is a leader in the new active and dynamic sitting revolution. Ships Free in 6 weeks with fabric, 12 weeks with leather.
The Capisco can also be ordered in a back version. More information can be found here.

The GREENGUARD Gold Certification Standard includes health-based criteria for additional chemicals (compare to GREENGUARD Standard) and also requires lower total volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and health care facilities. In addition to limiting emissions of more than 360 VOCs and total chemical emissions, GREENGUARD Gold Certified products must also comply with requirements of the state of California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Standard Method for the Testing and Evaluation of Volatile Organic Chemical Emissions from Indoor Sources Using Environmental Chambers,(also known as California Section 01350). Office furniture products that are GREENGUARD Gold Certified are also compliant with the BIFMA X7.1 standard.
